Quills in the Inkpot is a just a small little corner of the net and the world of blogging for the writings of a wandering soul. You can find everything from essay's to articles, my own opinions to poetry here. I will even randomly do reviews on products for small business for all you my readers. I do hope you enjoy and possibly find inspiration in some of my writing.
One last note, I am open to suggestions or request for any essay or articles and open to products you think I should review that you guys would like to see. Just follow instructions in the contact page.
The Wandering Soul Behind the Quills in the Inkpot:
you wish though most know me either as Alyssa or Z. Lollie. I am in my late twenties and started writing in my high school years. I stopped for a period of time other then the occasional poem here and there until I attended college. It was here in my English Literature classes that I was reminded why I loved writing so much in the first place. It has pushed me to continue writing and has driven me with passion.
It helps to have a fabulous husband behind me who pushes me to do what I love. Which of course is many of things. This being only one of them. When it comes to essay and article writing I tend to write from the heart and actual experience most the time. It is a rare occasion I will write about things I do not know about. I figured instead of having my things scattered across the net and notebooks. I could keep track of it all here. Sharing it with anyone who wants to follow and read.
No I am not perfect I do have the occasional sentence structure issue or use the wrong term and don't catch it. Sometimes a misspelling that has managed to slip through auto correct but all in all I try. At least I can admit my faults where I know them to be. I do not claim to be a professional of any sort and unless I have a publisher and editor I never will claim to be one. So please hold your tongue on any negative comments about possible errors in any of those areas. This is not saying I mind it being pointed out so I can change it!
